Sam Lane

Hi I'm Sam, a 30 year old Chemistry Teacher originally from the UK

I completed my teacher training at the University of Cambridge in 2019 and been teaching science to students aged 11-18 since then.

In that time I’ve also tutored online to students at both GCSE (16 years) and A-level (18 years) level. My strengths are expertise subject knowledge, outstanding record of examination success, good communication and working relationships with all students. I believe good lesson planning and preparation together with the ability to utilise a variety of teaching methods incorporating differentiation to meet all needs and stretch the most able is key to motivating and inspiring students.

In my free time I enjoy playing and watching sport, mainly football, tennis and cricket as well as cooking, hiking and playing video games.
