IB Online Tuition

The International Baccalaureate focuses on developing knowledge, confidence, care and inquisitiveness along with critical thinking in learners. The IB believes in empowering students at a young age to adapt to the changing global scenario, to become self-reliant, and to develop an attitude to learning which will prepare them to be ready to face challenges and be logical individuals.
The International Baccalaureate offers a combination of four well integrated and challenging programs for students aged 3 to 19. These are the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for 3-12 olds, Middle Years Programme (MYP) for 11 - 16 year olds, Diploma Programme and Career- related Programme for 16 - 19 year olds. These programmes aim to develop motivation and resilience with a sense of purpose and leadership skills. Their curriculum empowers students with a competitive edge which gives them a launch pad to getting admission in the top universities of the world.

Edge over other curricula:

Academic research shows that the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme and Middle Years Programme students had a better performance as compared to other global schools. They completed college faster and were able to cope better with the demanding study schedules and deadlines. Students gain the advantage of well researched and high quality study material under the aegis of a respected and reputed network of International Baccalaureate World Schools.
The International Baccalaureate system inculcates a deductive approach to problem solving. The students are given the opportunity to solve problems or answer questions first, rather than being given solutions and answers directly. Concepts and their applications are drilled by giving practice exercises and assignments to students for recording their responses with reasoning.
The PYP is accepted as a student centred inquiry based trans-disciplinary curriculum that focuses on conceptual understanding and makes young learners capable of facing challenges while simultaneously taking advantage of the opportunities coming their way. This curriculum paves the way to a cohesive learning community by prioritising human interactions and relationships, hence, encompassing intellectual, personal, emotional and social growth. From the age of 7 years, students can learn more than one language to help them become culturally aware and sensitive.
The MYP develops the confidence in students to connect their learning experience with actual real world situations. It is a five year programme comprising eight subjects, to be covered in at least 50 hours of teaching time each, which can be effectively conducted in many abbreviated two, three or four year formats. IB awards grades and certificates in the final year based on examinations and course work.
The Diploma Programme is an assessed programme which is accepted by leading universities all over the world. It trains students to manage their time and cope with the demanding workloads while equipping them with a study bag consisting of at least two languages and traditional academic subjects. The Career-related programme that is taken up in the final years of school prepares students with skills - both academic and profession based - to launch their careers. This is a unique programme which is personalised and flexible to guide students to higher education, internships and employment. The CP is specifically curated for students who wish to be adept in applied knowledge, critical thinking, communication and multicultural engagement.

Aim:

The goal of the International Baccalaureate is to create a world populated with aware, skilled, motivated people who are empathetic, sensitive and have strong value based roots. The teachers and educators come from a host of diverse cultural backgrounds, are extremely skilled and driven. Their primary aim being to encourage students to develop care and logic, to think independently and to be rational critical thinkers. The fact that the teachers constantly undergo training reiterates their underlying objective of nurturing lifelong learners and promoting continuous growth in both the students as well the educators. IB stresses the need to do meaningful work which resounds globally and is based on the vision that the world is a common arena with equal opportunities for all.
