ICSE VI Mathematics

ICSE VI MATHEMATICS COURSE

  • Curriculum :  ICSE
  • Grade :  VI
  • Subject :  Mathematics
  • Type :  One To One
  • Summary :  In our ICSE Maths for Class 6 include Number system , Ratio and Proportion, Algebra, Geometry, Mensuration and Data Handling.

Course Description :

The class 6 Mathematics syllabus initiates the learning of abstract numbers like integers, rational numbers, and the set of real numbers as a whole. Students are taught operations on these numbers, their properties, and their correlation with each other. A foundation of commercial Mathematics is established in class 6 to be built upon in the higher classes. Basics of mensuration and algebra, deal with basic shapes and generalisation patterns using variables and constants. Geometry covers a host of topics to increase spatial learning and Data Handling reveals the importance of data collection and the various ways of organising it to allow a reader to extract meaningful information from it. Some topics done in class 6 are extensions of those done in the primary classes but a majority of them are new, as these are the bases for the topics to be covered in the secondary classes.

Key features of Our Online Tuition

The Edugraff principle of ‘One Teacher One Student’ is the biggest asset a student has as this gives him his personal tutor and has the complete attention of his teacher. Each teacher maintains a record of all classes conducted, topics covered, home assignments given, and tests conducted. This ensures a seamless teaching-learning experience.

Why Edugraff for Online Tutoring of Mathematics?

All Edugraff teachers are qualified and are competent to teach according to the teaching patterns of ICSE. Online Tuition for Grade 6 Mathematics (ICSE) by Edugraff is helpful for students to grasp the concepts easily. Their familiarity with exam patterns familiarises the students with the same. Flexible time schedules and rescheduling facilities ensure no sessions are missed. An easy-to-use feedback system gives the technical back support team all the information to keep upgrading and improving their teaching systems.

Skills that our students learn

The use of various online tools like the whiteboard and additional videos available on personalised student pages facilitate an in-depth understanding of patterns, shapes, set theory of numbers, areas, and perimeter of 2D shapes, spatial understanding of 3D shapes, quick computational skills, and their application on problems involving money, measurement, speed, time and distance.
