FAQ :

1.   How does this syllabus, designed by CBSE, help students?

A language is best learnt by reading and listening to it. The stories and poems in the syllabus are there to do just that. Also, other tools like reading passages, debates, audio clips, creative writing, grammar and punctuation improve fluency and lend a cohesiveness to expression.

2.   Is there any other way to supplement this learning?

The more you expose yourself to any language, the better you get at it. Besides extra reading, you can always listen to or watch programs in English. The only factor to be careful about is to take guidance from an English teacher on what to watch. The material you listen to or watch should improve your language, not spoil it by introducing slang or unacceptable vocabulary.
